My 10 Bible Verses

My faith keeps me centered. It’s what keeps me going through the hard times and during the good times, I feel at peace seeing how true God’s word is. Actually, even during the hard times, God’s promises give me the peace that all hardships are being handled by Him and will pass. More so, it gives me the hope that everything will work for a greater good. I alway think of Jeremiah 29:11, which talks about how God’s plans for us are only good and will not harm us. Nothing that comes from Him is meant to be harmful. In the end, we will prosper.

With that said, here are some of my favorite Bible verses that help get me through life:

“But you Lord, are a shield around me; my glory, you keep my head high.”– Psalm 3:4

“The Lord, your God, who goes before you, is the one who will fight for you, just as he acted with you before your very eyes in Egypt, as well as in the wilderness, where you saw how the Lord, your God, carried you, as one carried his own child, all along your journey, until you arrived at this place.”– Deuteronomy 1:32-33

“I love you, Lord my strength, Lord, my rock, my fortress, my deliverer. My God, my rock of refuge, my shield, my saving horn, my stronghold. Praised be the Lord, I exclaim! I have been delivered from my enemies.”- Psalm 18:3-4

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, on your own intelligence, do not rely.”– Proverbs 3:5

“But you have mercy on all, because you can do all things; and you overlook sins for the sake of repentance. For you love all things that are and loathe nothing that you have made; for you would not fashion what you hate. How could a thing remain, unless you willed it; or be preserved, had it not been called forth by you? But you spare all things, because they are yours, O Ruler, and Lover of souls, for your imperishable spiritual is in all things!”– Wisdom 11:23-26, 12:1.

“Trust in God, and he will help you; make your ways straight and hope in him.”– Ben Sira 2:6

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name: you are mine.”– Isaiah 43:1

“Do not fear, beloved. Peace! Take courage and be strong. When he spoke to me, I grew strong and said, ‘Speak my lord, for you have strengthened me.'”– Daniel 10:19

“”I have been crucified with Christ; yet I live, no longer I, but Christ lives in me; insofar as I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God who has love me and given himself up for me.” – Galatians¬†2:19-20

“For nothing will be impossible with God.”– Luke 1:3
